This Policy explains what personal information Starke Foundry (“Foundry,” “we,” operated by Ethan Starke) collects, why, how we handle it, and your choices. It is incorporated into our Terms of Service. Contact: ethan@ethanstarke.com.
To review applications and verify identity; to place, enroll, and bill you; to deliver the Program (coaching, curriculum, gates, certificate, registry); to ship your books; to support you; to operate, secure, and improve the Program; to send Program and transactional emails; and to comply with law.
We share personal information with providers who process it on our behalf, including our website and account platform, our book-fulfillment retailer, our video-session and transcription provider, our identity-verification provider, and our privacy-friendly analytics provider. We require providers to protect your information and use it only to provide their service. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or others.
Coaching sessions are recorded and transcribed automatically through our video-session provider. Recordings and transcripts are accessible to you, your assigned coach, and us, and support coaching, your recall, and quality review (including AI-assisted review). You consent to recording and transcription at enrollment and via an in-session notice.
We generally retain your information for as long as needed to operate the Program and our business, including records related to your participation, certificate, and registry, and we may retain information (including declined applications and session transcripts) on an ongoing basis for these purposes. We will delete or de-identify information on request as described below, subject to legitimate business and legal retention needs.
You may request access to, a copy of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting ethan@ethanstarke.com; we verify your identity and respond within a reasonable period consistent with applicable law. You may opt out of the public registry at any time. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws.
We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to understand how our site is used. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If this changes, we will provide a consent mechanism.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including access controls (for example, application essays are restricted to us, and coaches see only the information needed to coach their assigned founders). No system is perfectly secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected users without undue delay, consistent with applicable law.
The Program is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
We may update this Policy; material changes will be communicated and the effective date updated.
